Research Description |
|
Dr. Osborn is a research investigator at the Center for Health Services Research and Eskind Diabetes Center, and a core faculty member in the Program on Effective Health Communication. Dr. Osborn's research focuses on improving care for ethnic minorities, and patients with limited literacy and numeracy skills who have diabetes and other chronic illnesses. Her current work involves understanding population-specific determinants of behavior change and testing frameworks to inform the design and content of self-care interventions that are culturally-tailored and literacy/numeracy appropriate. |
